Dead Island 2

Challenge: Deep Silver, a powerhouse publisher from Austria (part of the Plaion family), needed a creative boost for the launch of their highly anticipated AAA title, Dead Island 2.

Concept: I helped to create various graphic work during the prelaunch and launch phase of the campaign. Some of these included cosplay guides for fans to use, blueprints to show of the weapons, promotional work for the Amy collectors figurine and many more social media assets.

Results: The weapon blueprint posters were a huge hit, leading to additional commissions for the game’s DLC content. The Amy figurine video was well-received, with social media assets further amplifying its reach. Jacob’s cosplay guide proved so popular that it became the foundation for subsequent character guides.
